In the darkest hour comes the breaking dawn!  Just so, will come God's joy in the morning, if only you will believe during this night.

Why We Have to Ask

Asking requires believing.  That's WHY you have to ask, to exercise your faith.  Ask, with great joy and expectation, for what glorifies God, and RECEIVE!!

True Reality

Whatever keeps you from sitting in Jesus' lap must go, NOW.  Being with Jesus is true reality - everything else is a dangerous waste of time.

God's Power in You

In prayer, grab ahold of God's throne.  He died to give you full access to His power, that He might be glorified through your life.

Your Usefulness

God works through you.  Readiness and usefulness accompany belief.  Love is the force that rests as a butterfly, then cracks open a lifetime of mountains.

Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love is an entirely trustworthy PERSON.  If God's worth worshiping, He's worth trusting about EVERYTHING.  He creates trust in your heart for the asking.

Spiritual Womb

God forms physical life in darkness in the womb.  This life is the darkness of the spiritual womb.  Once surrendered, we're formed for eternal life.

Removing Burdens

Most of our burdens are self-inflicted.  We choose daily what we serve.  Walk in the Spirit.  Be free of fruitless dissipation of time and life.

Motives

Look at why you do things throughout your day.  Your motives reveal how much you love God.  Ask Him for any pure motives you lack.

The Power of Praise

As you praise God, you begin to believe what you say.  This transforms you with truth of Who God IS, flooding your soul with light.

A Deadly Infection

There's an infected culture in the church of legalistic fear-based living.  Fear God, not man.  If "performance" could save you, then Jesus died for nothing.

Jesus Smiling

Do you see Jesus smiling in approval?  If not, then you haven't yet fully believed in His love for you and payment for your sins.

The Relief of Being Human

We burn up trying to be God!  Be human and let God be God.  Be healed of the burden of performance, which never glorifies God.

Approach the stormiest seas of your life with the most anticipation. It's where Jesus walks on water to meet, save and reveal Himself to you!

Suffering

Don't waste your suffering by resenting it.  It's God's mercy, to draw and humble you.  Lay your anguished heart on the sacrificial stone, and LIVE.

How to Grow

Your greatest gifts are your daily difficult moments.  Your growth depends on giving up your rights at the exact point when you most want them.

Jesus Loves Me, This I Know

John believed so much in Jesus' love for him, that he laid his head on His chest.  It's your choice whether you do the same.

Sailing!

Spiritual learning begins in harbor, with difficulties and perils getting out.  But be encouraged - once in open ocean, we sail in the wind of God!

Darkness of "Self"

The darkness of "self" is our worst enemy.  Forsake it as you would a poisonous snake!  Lay down your will to He Who is Light.

Knowing Our Job

It's never our job to bring conviction or growth to any soul, nor is it possible.  God alone brings all progress.  We're His beloved conduits.

Turning

When you first notice that you are not facing Jesus, simply turn toward Him without self-criticism or drama.  This "turning" is our only real power. 

Oh Night Divine!!!

Oh Night Divine!!!  Sweet, precious little One, willingly born to suffer for all my sins; to be crucified for me!!!  I fall on my knees!!!

Delivering Perfection

When people demand perfection, hush yourself and let Jesus speak or act.  Simple, humble, childlike, pure.  Let Him flow through your heart in your response.

Self-Punishment

There's nothing noble about self-punishment.  It reveals a wrong belief that Jesus' punishment was not good enough for you.  Forgive yourself, move on, and rejoice!!!

Choose Life in Your life

Choose what is best, and has Life, rather than only good or an imitation.  Evil imitates what is only good, but it never has Life.

Fleshly Speaking

Take a moment to allow God to work before you speak.  It's your flesh that rises in quick retort, feeding evil to those you love.

Daily Opportunities

Spiritual progress depends on what you do with daily frustrations, provocations, and humiliations.  If you react the same way, you'll stay in the same place.

Oil of Pride

The oil of pride in our hearts prevents the Water of Life, joy and peace from entering.  Humility is the only soap that removes it.
