Sometimes, we're left to wallow in mud, until we grasp our complete inability to help ourselves.  This does our souls more good than immediate rescue.

Bring all burdens to God trusting Him with them.  Your greatest burden: YOU!  So cast yourself on Him too!  Bearing anything by yourself is unbelief.

In the boat of trust-in-God, the ocean becomes the Water of Life.  When it's time, you'll go beneath into eternal Life without fear.

Your offended flesh corrects others quickly and loudly, removing their ability to hear God's quiet correction!  Love isn't provoked; takes no account of wrongs suffered.....

True Personality Vs. Flesh

Crucifixion reveals true personality.  Our real, created, unique personalities can only be realized as flesh falls away.  It's the flesh that looks like everyone else.

Desire God's glory above your own happiness.  While only He can create this desire, by willing it, you begin the process.  Remember, He is Love.

Positioning Yourself to Do God's Will

Don't imagine God's will - pray without needing to "know", except what He shows you.  This will prevent disappointment and position you to do His will.

If Jesus goes into a dark tunnel with you, there's no dark tunnel left because He is infinite, and He is light!  See only Him.

When you look only to God, your life lacks nothing you need.  Need is redefined to mean, "whatever purifies my soul, preparing me for heaven".

God is as nearby when you can't sense Him, as when you can.  Various perceptions are given to strengthen your faith, never to bring despair.

Exchange Time for Eternity

In God, you escape the constraints of time if you live in the "now" of eternity by desiring only His will, and only this moment.

Don't be afraid of the fire.  It burns only what you wouldn't want, and can't have in eternity.  The burning changes and purifies your desires.

Honesty is just agreement with God about your state.  Trust God more than anyone.  Love His secret designs for your soul.  He loves you unconditionally.

Great wisdom of God is seen in nature.  Observe; find things to love about God, and ways of doing things that are better than man's.

Where Locusts and Lions Hide

Locusts (flesh) eat your crops (fruit), and lions (sins) eat you!  Clear your fields of tall grass (worldliness) and you'll have less trouble from both.

Compulsion or Freedom?

Who are you?  A slave obeys from fear and compulsion.  A son obeys from love and freedom.  Jesus died so you could become God's child.

Jesus, a God of Miracles!

Where Jesus is, there are miracles!  He's making paradise in your heart; a place of beauty and wonder, fit for a KING!  He's never idle.

Laying Down Your Life

Placing your will inside of God's is the greatest act of love.  Your will is your life, so you're laying down your life for God.

No Good Time is Lost

No wonderful time is ever lost.  They're only a tiny foretaste and preview of the life God plans for you in eternity!  And much MORE!

If God wants you to be a rock by the road, rejoice that you can watch great saints walk by, and maybe rest upon you!

Prosperity

Prosperity:  When I trade what I can't keep for what I can't lose; my flesh, for the Lord God Himself and His plans for me!

God is For You

You're not a subject of God's wrath.  Only your sin, and impurity, and Jesus defeated them!  God is for you, not against you!  Believe it!

Feeling Follow Obedience

By daily acts of your will, you learn to love God: show up in prayer, turn to Him often throughout your day, and obey Him.

Being Raised

Children trust that their parents will raise them to maturity.  So also, trust God to raise you to spiritual maturity!  He's actively doing so now!

The transforming thing:  BELIEVE.  Rather than listing peoples' faults to God, you should believe God for His vision for them!  Pray in agreement with faith!   

Inordinate Affections

Don't go to another for what you should receive only from God.  Inordinate affections are sweet at first, but are the deadliest poison.  They're idolatry.

Times of Hiding in His Heart

Trust God in your deepest hurts.  His good is never operating more strongly in your soul, than in these times of hiding in His heart.

Life is Always at Work

Wherever God goes, there is new life.  Since He is everywhere, new life is everywhere!  This life is working in you always, no matter what.

What Love Wants

Until you want only God, you haven't understood Him.  He's Reality, and all that's worth having.  Once you know Him, you want what Love wants.

Seeing Evil in Your Heart

Don't be shocked/discouraged when discovering evils in your heart.  God makes them visible just before He plans to remove them.  Be humble. Trust Him.

Forget the Past

To be like Jesus, forget about past injuries and injustices, people's faults, and your forgiven sins.  The alternative is to be like Satan, the accuser.

Practice Continual Thankfulness

Practice feeling just as thankful when thwarted, as when pleased.  Being upset accuses God of being unfair, unable, or ignorant.  God ALWAYS does what's best.

Love His Will

If anything seems unpleasant, be comforted, knowing God sent it.  THERE is where your pleasure lies; in loving His will, in all times and ways.

The Wine Press

Unless grapes are crushed, there will be no wine.  This happened to Jesus on the cross.  Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him.

The Warning

If you stray, or stop listening, God gives warning.  It'll be like a reduction of flow, as when pinching a hose.  Stop and turn back!

Take Time to Believe

God never fails - it's we who fail to believe.  As you pray, take time to be silent before Him, just BELIEVING for what you ask.

Twinkle in His Eye

There's a twinkle in God's eye about you!  You're His very heart!  He longs for you, knowing the greatest joy when you come to Him!

Humiliating failures remove self-confidence.  Refuse to beat yourself, or be discouraged.  Thank God for His Love in revealing your need to depend only on Him.

What shattered curses are you living under?  No curse has any power over God's child!  Take joyful flight with God, Who's saving you 100 percent!

Walk simply in trust.  Don't require the "what, where, when, who, whether, or why" of anything.  Relinquish complete control to your God, Who loves you.

Scale of Provision

Scale of provision: 1-10.  Salvation = 10!!  Good news:  Every other need is less than 10.  Since He already did the 10, He'll do the rest!

Whatever parts of your soul aren't embedded in the Rock (Jesus), are fertile ground for Satan.  Emotions, thoughts, habits, beliefs, affections.....let God prune them.

Intimate Love

Making dirty, broken vessels whole isn't enough for God's great Love.  Intimately, personally, by His own Hands, He imbues them with beauty, and eternal purpose.

How The Word Comes

God's will isn't always apparent when arriving at the diverging path.  Lift your foot in faith and the word comes for where to set it.

There's no dry place if you're submerged.  With the Living Water, even your insides are abundantly wet, and it'll spill on anyone who comes near!

The Spirit's Prayer

If you ask for anything not of God's will, the Spirit within you prays thus: "Let him/her desire Our will alone."  This is Love.

When you ask the Lord for something, let it be His will.  Take time to look at Him and believe thoroughly for what you asked.

Refusing salvation because you're undeserving is like refusing life saving medical help because you're undeserving.  Both are true.  Refusing either would be foolish....and deadly.

Sin, flesh, and past can't occupy the same place as the Lord.  If you will believe, He'll drive them out forever, replacing them with freedom!

Don't worry about laying hold of great things, if the One Who is Greatest has laid hold of you!  They will spill out of you!

God forgives every sin as if it had never been.  You're free to be like a little child playing around His knees, completely free!  Believe!

A baby's delicate hand on daddy's arm has greater power than any strength.  Pray with this kind of faith to your Father, Who loves you.

Wandering away is always preceded by believing a lie.  Make a list of lies you've believed and counter them with the Love/Truth of Scripture.

Sharing what you know of God is not vanity, it's your privileged duty.  If you refuse, it'll be given to another, to your regretful loss.

In your deepest hurts, believe God is good, keeping His promises. This enables hurts to purify you.  Be brave.  That's a command, not a gift.

Jesus spent years doing routine business.  Routine is your servant, giving structure, order, and discipline.  It trains you to serve God from an obedient heart.

10 Servants

Don't expect Jesus to learn self-discipline FOR you.  You already have 10 servants; 5 on each hand, and a boss (brain) to get them working.

Seek The Mind of God

Show up daily to prayer, always seeking the mind of God in patience about everything.  Work alongside, making no demands.  Believe His work is happening!

A New Heart

God's Life can't inhabit your original heart, with its control and unbroken will.  The only solution is its destruction and a new heart from God!

Harbour No Conditions

As long as you harbour any conditions about bringing your whole life to Jesus, you'll perceive Him as unfair.  Conditions are the opposite of faith.

Mirrors of Mercy

God places mirrors in the most unexpected places, to reveal an ugly truth about your soul.  If you're willing, these blows are cleansing and freeing.

Be Silent in Persecution

Allow just one word of retort, insult, defense, anger, etc., when you're being persecuted, and you silence what the Spirit was doing in their hearts.

"I'm calling you," says the Lord, "to something deeper."  Don't break His heart as He reaches for you.  Let Him begin a new work today!

Grace for Today

You're only asked to obey today.  Tomorrow's grace is given when it's today.  This is how you learn to walk, ending as a trained soldier.

Whatever you hold back from God keeps you needing milk instead of meat, and reveals an accusation in your heart that He's a hard master.

Unbelief is expressed in disobedience.  Your acts reveal what you believe.  Here's God's remedy:  Obey Him and see your beliefs changed!  This is a mystery.

Time spent in contemplation should be like time spent in meals.  Eat, then get up and go to work with faith in His productive plan.

As the leading bird in flight formation tires, he moves back to let another lead.  God's principles are revealed in creation for us to embrace.

Show up at the feet of God.  No unbelief, frustration, guilt, depression, sadness, or any other thing will be left untouched if you just come.

When Sympathy Isn't Needed

Sympathy can be an addictive flesh-feeder to a suffering believer who hasn't yet learned that God is Good.  Then, the lesson must be started over.

One Thing, One Direction

I'm here to say one thing:  "God loves you!", and to point in one direction:  "Behold, the Lamb of God!"  It is all that's important.

Surrender to Understand

Without surrender there's no understanding.  The Word is the Garden of Wisdom guarded by the Spirit, opened only to those who begin leaving themselves behind.

Gluttony

Gluttony is a half pig, half human self-demon.  It's a health sucking parasite living in your gut!  In Jesus' Name, send it out to die. 

Blessings

Don't over-value blessings.  They're only leaves on the Tree, coming and going as needed, some pleasant, some painful.  Desire instead, the Tree and be blessed.

Hands Around Your Heart

In prayer, take Jesus' hands, pull them inside your chest and around your heart.  This is a commitment of love with willingness to be discipled.

Don't Be a Donkey!

While God is able to make a donkey speak, it doesn't happen often!  Join Him in the development of your character.  Don't be a donkey!

Believe what's before your eyes.  The love of God is as ice cracking open great boulders.  Gentle, powerful pressure, destroying every stronghold, because you believed.

Behold, worship and praise God in whatever form He appears today:  Savior, Shepherd, Provider, Restorer, Husband, Healer, Helper, Comforter, Creator, Master, Father, Convicter, Builder, Inspirer....

You're meant to be an overcomer in everything every day.  Unbelief causes much failure and sin.  If you believe God, you have power to overcome.

Ask God to show you ways you're not believing Him.  As faith is perfected, Jesus is lifted up, drawing all people to Him through you.

Call everything God allows for you "good".  It has to be, if He allows it.  Believing this brings great peace and progress in your soul.

If your sufferings are the size of the moon, they can't begin to compare with the infinite galaxies of joyous wonders God's prepared for you!!

The Years Locusts Have Eaten

Do you believe God will "restore the years the locust has eaten"?  Joel did.  He's more than willing!  Repent, give yourself to Him, and watch!

Be Still and Know God

In prayer, the most important thing is learning to be still.  The key to knowing God is daily discipline of quiet focused listening before Him. 

An Aqueduct

Jesus still walks the earth today, in believers.  He unclogs the heart of sin, then self, then creates an aqueduct for His love and power!

Rainbow

It takes both sun and rain to make a rainbow.  It's what God makes in your soul when He shines through tears of real repentance.

Being willing to reach maturity someday isn't enough.  Add unwavering faith that God is taking you there, and daily determination to walk the whole way.

What do you expect of God?  Every day, expect heart-work, progress, opportunities, miracles, instruction, correction, inspiration, testings, fellowship!  You get what you expect in faith!

Always hold Jesus' hand.  If your words/actions make you let go, they're sin.  If He lets go, stop.  Learn why with heart open for correction.

Whatever you hold in your closed hand, or claim as your "right" keeps you enslaved, and from experiencing the full rights of being God's child.

There is a JOY even in the darkest place, because there is a LOVE that makes all darkness light!! It is the Lord Himself forever!

A loud and busy soul can't see quiet provisions for daily overcoming.  As a doe in morning mist, see every flower and drop of dew.

God doesn't have great things for you to do in the world until you first learn great, consistent acts of love and obedience at home.

You don't need emotional or mental understanding before obeying God.  Just declare to Him that by an act of your will, you want His will.

It's possible and necessary to listen to God's whispered voice.  Wanting to hear God more than other voices is the only remedy to quiet them.

God would not bother to grant you repentance if it were too late.  Even in the depths of pain, you can praise God for that!!

Roots

The unseen formation of roots precedes branches and fruit.  Trust God for what He forms in your heart every day, though you can't see it.

Absolute Approval

Give your kids unconditional, absolute approval; not of faults, but of their created souls, or they'll look for it in many evil things and ways.

Why Wait?

What are you waiting for?!  The God Who made you also provided the cure for every heart-ill, and for your eternity!  Come into His arms.

The Hurt of God

God tenderly holds us, while we hurt Him, by ignoring, rejecting and disobeying.  Because of His great love for us He can't avoid this pain.

Feelings vs. Will

You don't need to agree with God in your feelings.  Don't be afraid; He'll change your feelings after you commit to Him with your will.

Let Go

In this life, let everything go in peace; gain God and all He owns. Then nothing's really taken, because it's in Him where you are!

What love and trust for God there is in accepting everything from His hand and calling it good because He gave or allowed it.  Amen!!

Do good by doing what is set before you.  Accept the day's events with a quiet spirit.  Be as leadable and flexible as a child.

When you're born again, you're a caterpillar.  Crucifixion of the flesh is done in the cocoon, and the emergent glorious butterfly is the overcoming life!

Self-Punishment

Many mountains are climbed unnecessarily.  Beating yourself up is self-love because it's trusting yourself for what's needed, instead of God.  Let God give all experience.

The Only Thing That Can Block God.

God doesn't need you to be "ready" or "perfect".  He just needs you to be surrendered to Him.  Only an unyielded will can block Him.

Kingdom Work!

There's so much more than studying words.  Walk through the door of faith! Begin the harvest!  We are heirs and have kingdom duties and privileges!

Through God's ways, we help make our own eternity far beyond salvation.  Prayer based on faith moves endless mountains in souls, populating heaven!!  Dream big!!

The Immovable One

Seek your structure in God alone.  He's the only immovable One; all else is quicksand.  Once you are completely in God, you cannot be shaken.

Dare to Ask!

Dare to ask God for peoples' souls.  He is able to move them like a watercourse and so much more!  Believing this pleases Him greatly.

Word Pearls

Let your words be few, and drop like perfect pearls into people's hearts.  Listen to Jesus, the Word, Who forms the pearls in your mind.

Give All to Him

Put everything you have and are into the Hand of Love.  The sooner the better.  He will withhold nothing from those children who trust Him.

Your Richness in God

It's realizing that you are owed nothing that sets you free to own everything in the Lord.  Permit everything in life with peace and faith.

What is Needed

God gives only the precise dose of suffering needed for the good of your soul; not a speck more; and not a drop is wasted.

Sweet Offerings

Desire to please and glorify God more than being known, heard, or having purpose.  These are some last bits of flesh and are sweet offerings.

Live for Eternity!

Look at Jesus long enough, and you'll hear the world groan.  This world is so unreal compared to what is to come!!!  Live for eternity!

God is Near

There's no such thing as God being far away.  Believe, even when you can't sense Him.  Tell Him you miss Him, but know He's near.

The Door of Faith

Know that Satan has no power over your faith.  It's YOUR decision.    Every moment, go through the door of faith, where your heart's desires lay.

Childlike Asking

Wait in hushed expectation for what you ask God for.  Nothing pleases Him more than this childlike trust, for which He'll move heaven and earth.
