The Help of Jesus

Every fall down the stairs you've taken, the footstep of Jesus was heard on that stair behind you as He offered to pick you up.

Come to Your Father

Once Jesus' blood cleanses you, the Father eagerly expects you with open arms!  If you sit in the dark apart, it's your own sad doing.

The Lukewarm Are Spat Out

Think carefully: If you believe, or allow anything contrary to Scripture, or refuse to obey Scripture, you aren't Jesus' disciple.  The lukewarm are spat out.

Judging vs Judgmentalism

Judging rightly: standing for God, ministering his life and forgiveness through his love/patience/mercy.  Judgmentalism: standing for myself, ministering hate/hurt through superiority/performance.

See Yourself As God Does

If you could see yourself, LOVED, redeemed, the REAL you, as you ARE, one with Jesus and every believer....your love would TRANSFORM THE WORLD!

The Guard of Patience

Patience is guardian of the soul.  His eyes look to the Lord before he speaks or acts, preventing enemies from entering, and selfishness from emerging.

The Whole Way

Believe Jesus will take you the whole way.  Anything less is not real faith.  Faith is based on the certainty of Jesus' character and promises.

Align Your Doctrine on Jesus

Don't try to fit Jesus into your doctrine.  Align your doctrine perfectly on Jesus, the Word.  The subtle winds of deception avoid cost and consequences.

Bearing Fruit

We aren't promised to SEE much fruit, but to bear it, if we abide in Jesus.  Just SEE and trust the Lord.  Fruit is coming!

Move On Into Productivity

There's so MUCH beyond self-death!  Get on with it, and move into the productive work of building God's kingdom.  There's so much to do!

Expressing the Lord

Why should any power on earth keep you from fully expressing the Lord in your life every minute, when it's His will that you do?

Make Disciples

Our greatest duty is to make disciples.  Babes are being left to raise themselves, and fall away, or stay immature.  This is a great shirking.

The Duty of Now

Your to-do list can't lift Jesus up.  The duty of "now" is all that's needed.  Looking back, you'll see how your timely obedience exalted Him.

Teachings From Suffering

Everything real in your walk is gained through suffering.  Teachings from suffering are full of Spirit Life.  Woe to you if you don't teach it.

Turning Hurts To Good

In your deepest hurts, believe God is good, keeping His promises. This enables hurts to purify you.  Be brave.  That's a command, not a gift. 

Routine

Jesus spent years doing routine business.  Routine is your servant, giving structure, order, and discipline.  It trains you to serve God from an obedient heart.

10 Servants

Don't expect Jesus to learn self-discipline FOR you.  You already have 10 servants; 5 on each hand, and a boss (brain) to get them working.

Seek The Mind of God

Show up daily to prayer, always seeking the mind of God in patience about everything.  Work alongside, making no demands.  Believe His work is happening!

A New Heart

God's Life can't inhabit your original heart, with its control and unbroken will.  The only solution is its destruction and a new heart from God!

Harbour No Conditions

As long as you harbour any conditions about bringing your whole life to Jesus, you'll perceive Him as unfair.  Conditions are the opposite of faith.

Mirrors of Mercy

God places mirrors in the most unexpected places, to reveal an ugly truth about your soul.  If you're willing, these blows are cleansing and freeing.

Be Silent in Persecution

Allow just one word of retort, insult, defense, anger, etc., when you're being persecuted, and you silence what the Spirit was doing in their hearts.

A New Work

"I'm calling you," says the Lord, "to something deeper."  Don't break His heart as He reaches for you.  Let Him begin a new work today!

Grace for Today

You're only asked to obey today.  Tomorrow's grace is given when it's today.  This is how you learn to walk, ending as a trained soldier. 

Don't Hold Back

Whatever you hold back from God keeps you needing milk instead of meat, and reveals an accusation in your heart that He's a hard master.

God's Mysterious Remedy

Unbelief is expressed in disobedience.  Your acts reveal what you believe.  Here's God's remedy:  Obey Him and see your beliefs changed!  This is a mystery.

Eat, then Work!

Time spent in contemplation should be like time spent in meals.  Eat, then get up and go to work with faith in His productive plan.

Leading and Resting

As the leading bird in flight formation tires, he moves back to let another lead.  God's principles are revealed in creation for us to embrace.

Loving Trust in Suffering

As the dog looks with loving trust on his owner, even while thorns are removed, let's allow God to bring suffering, though we don't understand.
