How to Be Free of Strongholds

With besetting strongholds, our temptation is to avoid God, but He's our only path to freedom.  They'll dissipate as you love/know God more.  COME.

Trust is Absolute

Real trust has no levels/degrees.  It's calm, steadfast belief that each moment, God holds me, doing what's best: pleasure or suffering; life or death.

Love People, Not Comfort

What stops you from running headlong into loving people?  That's what makes you unlike Jesus.  Go into gutters, brothels, jails, bars, cults.......LOVE without condition.

Weaning

If grapes refused to be pressed, there would never be wine. Allow God to wean you from emotional highs, into the dry bread of faith.

Bringing Good

Agreeing with God to bring good from bad, pray for people you've hurt.  Your sin was momentary, but you're now part of their eternal good!

Immediate Power of God

God's power isn't dependent on your maturity, but operates right through weakness/fault!  These must be crucified daily but be confident that God is unstoppable!

True Light

If you lack true Light, it's because of your own light.  Man's knowledge is as darkness to God's wisdom.  Forsake it to gain real Light!!

Trust Him About Silence

Trust God for every need.  If you're given silence, rejoice!  Your need is met!  If you can't trust Him about silence, you can't trust Him.

The Order of Things

This is the order of things:  God gives you love for Himself.  This love gradually drives out plaguing flesh/sins from your nest.  Just COME.

Let God Do Everything

How eager God is to do everything for you!  More than any mother for her own child!  Come as a little child, and let Him!

Submerge Your Thoughts

Since thoughts become words, your thoughts must be continually submerged in the stream of Living Water for God to speak Himself into and through you. 

Vehicle of Delivery

God has us pray because prayer is His vehicle of delivery.  Agreeing with God's will, we're called to a partnership of belief on others' behalf.

Receive Restoration Quickly

If you've refused or run ahead of God, come humbly and confess it to Him.  Beating yourself up is only offended pride, delaying your restoration.

To The End

The rougher your journey gets, the more Jesus steadies your heart.  If He saved you, He will certainly also keep you afloat to the end.

Failures are Dead; Move On!

We only grieve for what is dead.  Grieve your failures, then bury these dead things quickly!  God calls you onward each day with new mercy!

The Responsibility of Intercession

As an invalid is wheeled into the sun's healing rays, so it is with intercession; bringing souls before God to be permeated with His Love.

Sacrifices No Substitute for Love

Huge sacrifices are spectacular, but perfecting Love is seen in small obediences, especially if you're naturally permissive.  Love God in this moment, each moment.  Simple.

Trust God over People to Teach You

Read Scripture with a new eye to see what's really there, and NOT there.  Trust God far above people to teach you.  He loves you.

Giving Up Your Isaac For Love

God wants you to become love.  This will cost you your "Isaac".  This sacrifice can only be made if you truly believe God IS Love.

Empowering Cloud of Love

God is a healing, empowering cloud of Love, actively filling in your honeycomb bones, made porous by sin and fault.  This was always His plan.
